As host of next years 2011 Pacific Games, New Caledonia is using the 2010 South Pacific Bodybuilding Championships as a opportunity to develop their best ever team for the Pacific Games. This year they are able to field two teams (an A team and B team) and by doing so give their upcoming athletes important competition experience.

One of best bodybuilders from New Caledonia, Gilbert Foucault (Second from right, pictured wearing number 13) placed a credible 10th against a world class field in the men’s under 85kg division at the inaugural WBPF World Championships held in Dubai last November. Gilbert is looking forward to competing with a strong team for host New Caledonia at this years South Pacific Bodybuilding Championships & Figure Invitational.

Important Note - The only bona fide South Pacific Bodybuilding Championships, which is sanctioned  by the South Pacific Bodybuilding Federation (SPBBF) is being held this year in New Caledonia from the 14th - 16th October 2010, hosted by the New Caledonia Federation, of which Patrick Mounier, Honorary Life President of the SPBBF (and Executive Council Member of the WBPF) is an Advisor.
