The Inaugural WBPF Men’s World Bodybuilding Championships held in Dubai was in fact the first major event that the Solomon Islands have taken part in since the federation had been formed in 2007. Francis Idu, President of the Solomon Islands Bodybuilding Federation said he and his federation were most grateful to the WBPF for supporting the Solomon Islands.
He especially wanted to acknowledge the generous support of Osama Al Shafar, Founding President of the WBPF. He also wanted to thank Philip Hope and Paul Chua and all members of the Executive Council and the Organising Committee for their support. |
